DuPont Underground

Built in 1949 and operational until 1961, this is the DuPont Underground. Former Trolley Station/fallout shelter/food court, now abandoned space beneath DuPont Circle. The trolleys are now used in Barcelona and there are still remnants of the food court. You can find 8 entrances to the tunnel if you look carefully...
